Rapper exits bankruptcy

Rapper David Darnell Brown, better known as “Young Buck,” is getting a fresh financial start after exiting bankruptcy, a report stated on Thursday, September 19. The rapper filed for bankruptcy three years ago.

According to reports, the Tennessee rapper has paid some of his debt, but other creditors will not get paid, including rapper 50 Cent, who is owed around $117,000. Young Buck had to pay $391,333.59 according to a legal trustee. The rapper also settled his $42,699 tax debt in full. More than 85 percent of the claims worth $26,914.73 and $868.31 were already received by the New York State Tax Department from the rapper.

The 32-year-old rapper, who is expected to be released from prison this October, sought bankruptcy protection after the IRS raided his assets and sold his properties to pay his taxes.
